SIZING IMAGES
>Photoshop
>Image >Image Size
>Check Constrain Proportions
>Resolution/ DPI = 150-300 depending on the image quality
>Pixel width to 2500-5000 for whichever side is the largest dimension – width if you have a landscape/horizontal image or height if your images is vertical/portrait … in short, whichever dimension # is bigger, change that one ONLY
>your inches dimension should “fall out” to approximately 16 x 12 inches at 5000 and half that at 2500
Your image size should be AT LEAST
➢ 5 x 7 inches OR LARGER
➢ at no less than 150 dpi and no more than 300 dpi
➢ no larger than 5000 pixels, the largest dimension
I’m suggesting the above sizing, since, if you have a higher resolution image it is better for printing. If your image has flaws, save it to 5 x 7 rather than adjusting the pixel width (which would have it at 12 x 16).
